
Delaware egaming revenues tumble 42% in June
Net revenues fall to just $108,692 in June, as online casino revenues fell 70% on the same period last year
Operators endured a 42% freefall in online gaming revenues in Delaware in June according to the latest figures released by the State Lottery. [private]
Net revenues fell to just $108,692 compared with the $187,337 recorded in June 2014, with revenues also down 19% sequentially.
Online casino revenues fell by more than 70% YoY to $32,811 while poker increased 18% to $30,675 as the state enters its fourth month of liquidity sharing with Nevada.
Revenues from the sale of online lottery tickets also fell YoY, down from $51,487 to $45,205.
All three of the states egaming operators saw revenues fall month-on-month, but Delaware Park continued to lead the charge attracting $66,710 in June.
Online casino accounted for $22,327 of the operatorâs total, with poker attracting $20,169 and lottery ticket sales $24,214.
Dover Downs held on to second spot despite casino revenues falling almost 90% MoM to $1,230, while poker brought in $6,872 and lottery ticket sales $18,732.
Harington Raceway suffered its fourth consecutive month of decline, with revenues down 27% sequentially to $15,145.
While the operator was able to increase casino revenues from $2,693 to $9,254, it was not enough to offset an 84% tumble in lottery ticket sales to $2,258, with poker remaining flat at $3,633.
