Wolves and Crystal Palace seal front-of-shirt gambling sponsorships
Wolves and Crystal Palace have both landed gambling sponsorships before the Premier League brings front-of-shirt deals to a halt

Wolves and Crystal Palace have both penned two-year front-of-shirt sponsorship deals with gambling firms ahead of the new Premier League season.
Wolves’ partnership, which is the largest in the club’s history, means that DEBET succeed AstroPay as the side’s new principal sponsor.
As well as the operator’s branding featuring on both the home and away strips, the DEBET logo will also appear on Wolves’ training kits.
The deal will run for entirety of the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons, the final two campaigns before Premier League clubs voluntarily agreed to put an end to front-of-shirt betting sponsorships.
News of the new sponsorship agreements comes less than two months after fellow Premier League side Aston Villa penned a two-year sponsorship deal with Kaizen Gaming-owned Betano, believed to be worth a reported £40m, as per The Telegraph.
Speaking at Molineux, Wolves’ home stadium, DEBET spokesperson Alan Alger explained: “This is a historic deal for DEBET and everyone is already excited for next season to begin and to see the branding on the shirts and throughout the stadium.
“Wolves is a prestigious club and everyone at DEBET is proud to be part of the biggest principal partner deal the club has ever signed.”
Russell Jones, Wolves’ general manager for marketing and commercial growth, added: “We are delighted to announce this record partnership between Wolves and DEBET.
“Since our discussions began, we’ve been impressed with their professional approach, and their appointment of knowledgeable individuals, who will be dedicated to making sure this partnership is a success.
“We look forward to working with DEBET over the next two seasons to grow the presence of both brands internationally.”
DEBET operate in the UK via a white-label agreement with TGP Europe Limited, based in the Isle of Man.
TGP Europe has currently registered 18 different white-label agreements with an array of different operators, as per the Gambling Commission.
Operators on the list include Everton sponsor Stake, Nottingham Forest’s partner Kaiyun and Fulham’s front-of-shirt sponsor SBOTOP.
For Crystal Palace, the club has penned a two-year deal with NET88 to run through until the end of the 2025-26 season.
The partnership will see the operator’s logo features on the Eagles’ home and away kits, as well as their training wear.
The brand will also be advertised across perimeter boarding at Selhurst Park and across the Crystal Palace website.
NET88 also operates on a white-label deal via London-based business Risq Capital.
A NET88 spokesperson said: “Everyone at Net88 is excited to work with Crystal Palace after a fantastic end to last season.
“We are delighted to join a club that is moving forward with their great young talent. We are proud to be the club’s front-of-shirt sponsor and aim to build a successful relationship with the team and their passionate fans.”
Barry Webber, Crystal Palace chief commercial officer, added: “NET88 is a global online gaming platform for sports and gaming fans alike, and we’re looking forward to working with them at this exciting time.”
