DAZN BET bolsters senior leadership team with new head of gaming hire
Sportsbook operator brings in former Microgaming head of partnerships Neil Bancroft ahead of Q3 launch

DAZN BET has added to its growing senior leadership roster as Neil Bancroft joins the firm as its new head of gaming.
Bancroft joins the challenger brand from Microgaming, where he most recently served as the supplier’s head of partnerships since August 2020. Prior to that he also spent three years as the firm’s commercial manager.
Bancroft previously spent almost seven years in a variety of roles at William Hill, originally joining the firm as a retail manager before eventually holding the role of business owner, where he took the responsibility of profit and loss and being involved in product development as well.
Posting on LinkedIn, Bancroft said: “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as head of gaming at DAZN BET.”
This latest hire comes a month after DAZN BET added two new members from multiple big names in the igaming industry.
The first was the former head of talent acquisition at Casumo, Pete Everson, who is in charge of headhunting new talent for the brand and likely was involved in the hire of Bancroft.
The second was a return to the industry for Kevin Alvarez, who had been away from the sector for over six years, returned as DAZN Bet’s head of IT. Alvarez previously had spent 12 years at Ladbrokes, working his way up to being the firm’s IT manager.
