DAZN BET adds 888 risk exec to expanding team
Matthew Greenman joins Mark Boyle and co. at challenger brand as sportsbook team continues to grow

DAZN BET has installed 888 stalwart Matthew Greenman as its new head of fraud, risk and payments ahead of the sports streaming platform’s anticipated sports betting launch in Q3 2022.
Greenman joins DAZN BET from 888, where he most recently served as fraud and risk operations manager.
Greenman spent more than seven years with the London-listed operator, originally joining in August 2014 as a sports fraud and risk supervisor.
He proceeded to climb the ranks in the fraud division, firstly becoming a team leader in October 2015 and then a manager in December 2017.
He was appointed fraud and risk operations manager in June 2020.
Greenman will be based in Gibraltar. DAZN BET is set to be led by CEO Mark Kemp, formerly of BoyleSports, with a roster of industry talent having been accrued in recent months.
DAZN CEO Shay Segev has set out building his sportsbook team since September 2021 when he onboarded former Entain exec Ian Turnbull as EVP of betting and gaming.
Elsewhere, ex-Entain COO Sandeep Tiku joined as DAZN CTO, while former William Hill head of football and US sports Liam Barbour was appointed as SVP of future product strategy.
The latest hire saw the firm bring in former William Hill head Gemma Burge as head of safer gambling.
DAZN announced in April that its sports betting product will built on Pragmatic Solution’s platform.
