Danish Twitch streamer hit with DKK10,000 fine for advertising illegal gambling
Danish Gambling Authority reports a creator for the first time following promotion of unlicensed sites on streaming platform

The Danish Gambling Authority (DGA) has fined an unnamed Twitch streamer DKK10,000 (£1,153) for advertising illegally on the streaming platform.
The regulator established the streamer had advertised an operator that did not hold a Danish licence.
Earlier this year, the DGA reported the incident to the police following its discovery.
Danish police confirmed the streamer had violated existing laws, and handed down the DKK10,000 fine, as recommended by the DGA.
The punishment is the first of its kind in Denmark.
In October last year, Twitch introduced a blacklist of unlicensed gambling websites including Stake, Rollbit and Roobet.
The list was expanded to include Blaze and Gamdom in August.
The punishment comes days after the DGA announced it was banning 49 illegal sites including the aforementioned Stake.
