Coral launches UK's first customisable player prop bets
Customers able to create more than 1.3 million unique markets over a single round of Premier League matches

Coral has launched a new set of markets enabling punters to create their own prop bets on individual player performances across a variety of leagues and sports.
The new Player Bets product is set to go live today and will initially be available on football, NFL, NBA and rugby league.
Bets that Coral customers will be able to create include single player, combined player and head-to-head bets â a specific example being a footballer to make more than 75 successful passes during a match.
The technology for the product, first launched in Australia, is provided by Digital Sports Tech, which perfected its player performance algorithms with the help of a free-to-play DFS platform in the US.
Coral sportsbook director Keith O’Loughlin said: “Digital Sports Tech have created something genuinely different with their player proposition betting platform, which makes sports betting even more engaging for punters.
“We’re committed to providing Coral customers with the very best experience and we’re really excited about the potential of Player Bets. It is a really engaging and fun addition to our customer proposition.”
Coral said the new offering will be “heavily promoted through all channels”.
The customisable nature of the bet engine means punters can create more than 1.3 million unique markets over a single round of Premier League matches, and more than 2.3 million in a weekend of NFL.
Ari Lewski, executive director at Digital Sports Tech, said: “Player based betting is an untapped and therefore major growth area for the industry. There is huge demand for player related betting opportunities from punters, which you could argue has evolved from the growing popularity of fantasy sports.
“Giving users the power to create and personalise their own player bets will change the actual experience of betting for many fans and will also provide them with a far deeper level of engagement with the sport,” he added.
