
Coral releases new football fan-focused multi-channel ad
Latest ad, which is set for release across all of Coral’s social channels, forms part of the operator’s ‘We’re Here For It’ series

Coral has launched a football-focused short as part of its ongoing ‘We’re Here For It’ marketing campaign to add to existing campaigns for online casino and horseracing.
The new 30-second advert, ‘The Tunnel’, focuses on the relationship between football fans and the clubs they support.
The film starts with a focus on a rainy football pitch with the rowdy football fan chanting heard in the background, before zooming in on the players’ tunnel.
A variety of football fans start to walk out of the tunnel, including shirtless fans, armchair experts, pensioners and football hipsters, all of whom carry Coral’s free rewards shaker.
The fans then end up in a traditional football line-up as the camera zooms out for an aerial shot of the pitch.
Coral shot the ad at the Rajko Mitić Stadium, home of Serbian football team Red Star Belgrade, using 100 extras to play the part of the football fans.
The ad will go live across TV, video-on-demand and radio, with Coral’s in-house creative agency Entain Creative responsible for planning social and digital marketing.
The ad was developed by Wonderhood Studios and directed by Glenn Kitson from film production company Iconoclast.
Kitson’s filmography includes working with Nike, Berghaus and ITV.
The ad marks the second effort from Wonderhood Studios since it secured the Coral partnership in 2023.
The firm revealed two ads in February, one for Coral’s horseracing proposition and one for online casino, as it debuted the ‘We’re Here For It’ brand messaging.
Charlotte Emery, Entain’s chief marketing officer, said: “With our rich heritage in football, we know exactly what it means to be a football fan, while embracing the highs and lows of the season.
“Our latest campaign pays homage to all those that follow the beautiful game. Whether they are an armchair expert or a football fashionista, we hope they will see themselves reflected in our latest work.”
Ben Edwards, executive creative director at Wonderhood Studios, added: “Coral has always understood that the beautiful game is truly beautiful because of the incredible fans that are there for their teams, week in week out.
“This ad is a brilliant celebration of that enduring love – truthfully told but with a big kick of charm and wit.”
In September, Ladbrokes launched its ‘The Gaffer of all Accas’ campaign, which was the first ad to be developed entirely by Entain’s in-house creative division.
