Continent 8 onboards former Amazon exec for senior sales role
Carl Bonner joins the provider as regional sales director after three-and-a-half years at Amazon Web Services
Continent 8 Technologies has named former Amazon and Oracle executive Carl Bonner as its new regional sales director.
Bonner joins the supplier after three-and-a-half years as a senior account manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he co-founded the online giant’s Betting and Gaming division to supply IT services to operators and suppliers.
Before his role with AWS, Bonner spent more than six years at software development firm Oracle NetSuite.
He originally joined Oracle NetSuite as a business development representative in October 2013, progressing to the role of account manager for EMEA in January 2014 before being appointed as a corporate account manager in October 2015.
Bonner’s final role at Oracle NetSuite was as an account executive for software and technology, where he worked with major brands including Pret a Manger, WHSmith and Shazam.
