Continent 8 launches compliance division headed up by former Hills exec
Jeremie Kanter joins the supplier as director of regulatory affairs and will lead the new C8 Comply arm

Continent 8 Technologies has launched a new regulatory division, C8 Comply, and appointed former William Hill head Jeremie Kanter to front the new arm.
Kanter joins the supplier as director of regulatory affairs and will be responsible for the firm’s new advisory practice.
This appointment comes as Continent 8 looks to expand into new regulated markets and as it launches a number of new products, which include “regulated cloud environments and critical cybersecurity solutions”.
Before joining the supplier, Kanter was the VP of regulatory and assurance at Diligence in Gaming, a position he held between January 2023 and May 2023.
Prior to his time at the ComplianeOne Group subsidiary, Kanter was the group compliance director at William Hill between January 2022 and December 2022.
Kanter was also chief compliance officer at Tech4S for 18 months between June 2020 and December 2021.
He has also held senior roles at SBTech, PokerStars and Playtech.
Michael Tobin, founder and CEO at Continent 8 Technologies, said: “Jeremie is one of the most experienced and skilled regulatory and compliance specialists in the industry, and this makes him an incredibly valuable asset to Continent 8. I’m very pleased to welcome him to our team.
“Regulation and compliance are the foundation of Continent 8’s business and bringing Jeremie on board as we continue to grow aggressively across regulated markets will be fundamental to our success in these jurisdictions, as well as those where we currently support our customers,” he added.
On his new role, Kanter commented: “Continent 8 is one of the most established and reputable companies in the sector and has been supporting its customers in regulated markets for 25 years now.
“I know the team well and I am excited to be joining such a reputed company, and looking forward to leveraging my industry experience and skillset to help Continent 8 achieve its ambitious goals.”
