Conscious Gaming hires former Scientific Games director
Blair Aronson to manage, scale, and optimize multi-state PlayPlause self-exclusion scheme

GeoComply’s multi-state self-exclusion scheme provider Conscious Gaming has hired former Scientific Games director Blair Aronson as its new operations director.
In the new role, Aronson will be responsible for managing, scaling, and optimizing the PlayPause platform, as well as working with operators, regulators, sports leagues, and platform providers that use the technology.
Aronson spent three years as director of customer success for the Americas at Scientific Games’ SG Digital arm.
Prior to that, she spent five years at NYX Gaming Group as director of operations before the supplier was acquired by Scientific Games in 2018.
“As we continue to make progress with PlayPause, it was important to add someone with Blair’s skillset to ensure proper implementation of the technology for our clients,” Conscious Gaming trustee Anna Sainsbury said.
“She has a wealth of experience, knowledge, and relationships that, as we continue to grow, will help us deliver on our promise to protect consumers,” Sainsbury added.
Aronson commented: “The online gaming business is growing rapidly and the need to modernize and strengthen responsible gaming will be critical to its success.
“I look forward to continuing the relationships I have built throughout my career to help roll out the PlayPause technology,” she said.
Aronson will report into VP of corporate social responsibility and communications Seth Palansky. Conscious Gaming is a not-for-profit organization that leverages technology to develop CSR initiatives within the online gambling industry.
