Exclusive: ComeOn Group launches community casino innovation WeSpin
Operator partners with streaming influencers and game providers on new tool which allows viewers to share online gambling experiences

ComeOn Group has unveiled a new product called WeSpin that capitalises on the popularity of online casino streaming by allowing viewers to buy into a pooled staking pot.
Live casino streaming has been made popular in recent years by influencers and brand ambassadors. Audience members tune in to their live streams on platforms like YouTube and Twitch hoping to witness big jackpots and are often able to communicate with each other via chat functionality.
WeSpin, which is a proprietary product developed by ComeOn Group’s in-house engineering team, is designed to take that experience to the next level by allowing viewers to top up the streamer’s account balance and take a share of the spoils of any winning jackpots at the end of each session.
The concept of the product dates back to 2015 when the operator began jackpot hunts between colleagues in the office.
Berkay Reyhan, CCO at ComeOn Group, said: “The great thing about WeSpin is it is bringing the passive audience of the streamers into the heart of the fun by making them buy-in into the streamers pot.
“Why watch someone else’s activity behind a screen while you could actually be a part of it? This is what WeSpin solves,” he added.
WeSpin also has a boost tool that enables game providers like NetEnt, Push Gaming, Yggdrasil and Playtech to sponsor events for exclusivity to raise the profile of newly released slots titles.
Streamers can then invite their fans to participate in these events, increasing affiliate conversion rates while simultaneously boosting streamer views and subscribers.
WeSpin has to date partnered with some of the biggest casino streamer profiles in the industry, including Anton Jirout (Konnabonus) who has more than 12,000 followers on Twitch.
Jirout said: “I’ve really enjoyed hosting group plays with the WeSpin feature and I’ve got many new viewers to my Twitch stream just by working with ComeOn.
“People really like to participate in groups that also give something extra. What I’ve noticed works best is to run a bonus hunt with the new boost feature, as it increases the chance to end up with a positive balance and a cash out,” he added.
Collaborating with streaming influencers is already popular on certain esports titles including FIFA. Viewers contribute funds to their favourite streamers who then open Ultimate Team packs, or loot boxes, to see which real-life footballer cards they can add to their virtual clubs.
Other online gambling operators including LeoVegas are banking on the success of the community casino streaming experience after investing €1.1m in Karolina Pelc-founded start-up SharedPlay.
