Coingaming Group lands new head of people
Estonia-based crypto operator promotes Piret Ploom to bolster female-led senior management team

Coingaming Group has promoted from within to appoint Piret Ploom as head of people.
Ploom first joined the business in October 2020 as the group’s people partner and will now replace the outgoing Kristi Schumann as HR lead.
The former Relax Gaming HR partner will be responsible for supporting Coingaming’s senior leadership team, finding new talent for the business, developing existing staff skills and ensuring a positive working environment.
Ploom, who began her new role on 1 April, will be based in the group’s Tallinn office and will report into CEO Maarja Pärt.

Ploom strengthens Coingaming’s female-led senior team, where she joins up with Pärt and COO Anita Brinke.
Speaking to EGR, Pärt said: “Piret is yet another example of talent rising to the top at the Coingaming Group, and it’s always a pleasure to watch existing Coingamers step up into vitally important roles.
“She has quickly developed a deep understanding of our values and has a clear vision for what comes next. As our new head of people, we’re in safe hands,” she added.
Ploom said: “Every person in our Coingaming ecosystem is unique, we’re a diverse company where everyone can work on what they know best.
“We want to nurture and develop our people and not just professionally but individually as well. We want them to feel satisfied at work and off too so focusing also on employees’ mental wellbeing is a priority for us,” she added.
