Churchill Downs launches BetAmerica sportsbook at Presque Isle Casino in Pennsylvania

Churchill Downs has opened its latest BetAmerica sportsbook at the Presque Isle Downs & Casino in Pennsylvania.
The newly renovated venue features 25 SBTech-powered kiosks, with another 25 spread across a number of bars and areas on the casino floor.
Churchill Downs acquired the Presque Isle Casino in January in an effort to expand its sports betting footprint.
CEO at Churchill Down Bill Carstanjen said: “The legalization of sports wagering across the country presents a great opportunity for Churchill Downs to deliver more entertainment options to our customers and we are excited to bring our industry-leading BetAmerica Sportsbook to the Pennsylvania market.”
Vice president and general manager of Presque Isle Kevin O’Sullivan added: “We’re confident that the addition of the BetAmerica Sportsbook will help us draw an even larger crowd of sports fans and racing enthusiasts from across Pennsylvania and from surrounding states.”
Last year the operator signed an extensive deal with SBTech to launch both retail and online betting and gaming operations in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and two retail sportsbooks in Mississippi under the BetAmerica and TwinSpires brands.
In June Pennsylvania’s betting revenue reached $2m, with online accounting for 18% of GGR.
