
CheckdMedia hires new marketing director from Mr Green
Alex Beecham joins the Manchester-based affiliate following Fantasy Hub product launch


CheckdMedia this week hired Mr Green UK country manager Alex Beecham as its new marketing director.
Beecham, who spent three years at Mr Green in Leeds, will report into CheckdMedia co-founder Lee Struggles.
Beecham has also worked in a range of marketing roles for Sky Betting & Gaming, Prospect Hall Casino and William Hill.
Beecham said: “It’s great to join the team here at CheckdMedia.
“[CEO] Jamie [Knowlson] and Lee have some really exciting growth plans for the business and I’m looking forward to helping push the brands forward.
“I’ll be looking to add value to the paid media efforts initially and help the guys explore new verticals like casino leveraging my recent experience in this sector,” he added.

Beecham’s arrival followed the launch of a new CheckdMedia B2C brand, Fantasy Hub, developed by the affiliate’s newly-formed CheckdDevelopment arm.
Fantasy Hub is a free-to-play mobile app on iOS and Android where UK users can compete with “like-minded football fans” to win prizes on the Sky Bet Championship and UEFA Champions League.
Fantasy Hub uses the technology behind the popular Fantasy iTeam game, which was one of the first app-only products in the industry when it launched in 2010.
CheckdMedia product director Adam Patton said: “This was an obvious first step for the Checkd Group on our path to offering more games and content to our football fanatic audience.
“Fantasy has long been a great platform to build a relationship with UK fans, and the app itself is a unique and addictive variation on the traditional games we’ve all played for years.”
