
Checkd Media hires new head of organic media amid divisional restructure
Footy Accumulators owner to split up performance media and organic media segments as Michael Scott arrives from Manchester Airports Group


Checkd Media has recruited digital SEO specialist Michael Scott in the newly created role of head of organic media.
Scott previously worked for MAG-O – the digital arm of Manchester Airports Group – as an SEO lead after joining the company in May 2018.
In his new position at the Manchester-based affiliate, he will focus on conversion and optimising traffic across the Footy Accumulators, Winners Enclosure and Oddschanger brands.
Checkd Media is increasing its investment in SEO amid a restructuring to divide the performance media segment from the organic media division within the wider business.

As a result, Dylan Casey has been promoted from manager to head of paid media while Ollie Dickinson, who was previously a senior SEO exec, has stepped up to the SEO manager role.
Checkd Media MD Alex Beecham said: “Michael showed in his last role his strategic ability within organic search and leadership skills in fronting a team that delivered strong results.
“As a group, we are devoting increased resources to SEO and this appointment is a signal of our intent as we continue to increase our reach among our target demographic of sports fans,” he added.
