
Checkd Group names first-ever head of SEO
George Webb will take the reins of the newly established role at the Manchester-based affiliate


Checkd Group has appointed George Webb as its new of SEO, a brand-new role at the affiliate.
The new role will help the media and international divisions of the firm to ramp up organic traffic and optimise onsite revenue across the UK and North America.
Webb joins the Manchester-based affiliate from digital advertising agency Engage Interactive where he held the position of head of SEO for one year.
Before that, he spent just over five years at the digital experience and technology agency UNRVLD across several different positions.
Webb joined the business as an SEO consultant in July 2017 before becoming SEO manager in August 2018. He was made SEO lead in November 2020, a position Webb held until he departed for Engage Interactive in October 2022.
He also held SEO roles at Blueclaw Media and Epiphany Search.
