Chalkboard rolls out integrated app for social sports betting
Messaging platform aims to bring all elements of betting experience under one roof

Chalkboard debuted its new social sports betting app, a data-driven, gamified messaging platform that aims to integrate all elements of the betting experience.
From bet placement and tracking to score updates and the social interaction inherent to sweating out a bet, Chalkboard is striving to become a one-stop shop for bettors of all types by removing the friction points associated with the app-toggling that’s traditionally required to create a comprehensive betting experience.
Chalkboard’s headline feature ‘boards’ are all-inclusive community-driven messaging spaces that give users the ability to tap into established networks of betting influencers for insights, tutorials and bigger discussions around betting.
Chalkboard group chats are also equipped with a functionality that allows for the display of picks and live-score banners in real time, creating the opportunity for an ongoing real-time dialogue among friends, co-workers and other network members.
“The bet ‘placement’ isn’t the exciting part of sports betting,” said Chalkboard CEO and co-founder Ted Mauze. “The unforgettable moments occur once that bet goes live, your team has the come-from-behind win in reach, and the group chat is having a collective meltdown. Those heart-racing moments deserve a gamified upgrade, and we built Chalkboard to do just that.”
Other features of Chalkboard’s platform include the automation of bet tracking across multiple sportsbooks, as well as performance tracking, which allows users to maintain records of their wins and losses and compare those results against the performance of friends and other members of the community.
“We’re at an exciting time where new betting markets are opening up and larger numbers of people are trying out sports betting,” said NBA sports betting influencer and Chalkboard NBA community manager Saniyah.
“The new ‘boards’ feature helps Chalkboarders extend their betting network and even learn how to place bets on new sports. It’s a great way to learn and share the excitement of sports betting with others.”
