Catena Media promotes within for new CFO
Mike Gerrow to step up from VP of finance role to replace interim finance chief Erik Edeen from 15 April

Catena Media has promoted Mike Gerrow to become the firm’s CFO after four years with the affiliate.
Gerrow will replace interim CFO Erik Edeen from 15 April and will form part of Catena Media’s new executive management team.
Kindred Group head Manuel Stan will join the business as CEO on 1 July to replace Michael Daly, who resigned at the end of February.
The affiliate is being led by interim CEO Pierre Cadena for the time being, with the VP of corporate strategy having been drafted in to fill the space left by Daly.
Gerrow originally joined Catena Media in April 2020 as head of financial planning and analysis, moving from Hangar Agency where he served as finance director.
In January 2023, Gerrow was named VP of finance and will now step up to the Stockholm-listed affiliate’s C-suite.
Catena Media confirmed Edeen would continue to support the business in a strategic advisory role.
Edeen returned to the firm in May 2023 to replace Peter Messner, reprising the role he held at Catena Media between 2019 and 2020.
Speaking on Gerrow’s promotion, interim CEO Cadena said: “We are delighted to see Michael step into the role of group CFO.
“His extensive experience and deep understanding of our financial operations make him exceptionally well suited to lead our financial operations going forward.
“Michael’s transition to this role will provide strategic continuity in our executive management team, supporting Catena Media as we continue on the next phase of our journey,” he added.
