Catena Media chief HR officer to depart after nine years
Fiona Ewins Brown calls time on spell with affiliate as new vice-president of HR announced in latest senior personnel shift

Catena Media chief HR officer Fiona Ewins Brown has left the business after almost a decade of heading up people operations at the affiliate.
Brown originally joined the Stockholm-listed business in September 2015 after a near-six-year spell with GFI Software.
The departing exec previously worked for Ernst & Young and Morgan Stanley in HR roles before moving into the igaming industry.
Additionally, the affiliate confirmed Jamie-Grace Farrugia was stepping up to become vice-president of HR with immediate effect.
Farrugia joined Catena Media in February 2019 as a HR business partner before becoming HR operations manager in October of the same year.
February 2022 saw Farrugia, who previously had stints with Betclic and White Noise Gaming, named head of HR operations.
The shift in the HR department is the latest in a series of senior moves at Catena Media, which was kickstarted with the appointment of Kindred Group US boss Manuel Stan as CEO, effective from July.
Stan will join the firm in July and be supported by new CFO Mike Gerrow after he was promoted from vice-president of finance in April.
Edward Midolo was named chief technology officer the same month while former TMZ head Jasleen Kals has been added as vice-president of product.
A Catena Media spokesperson said: “Fiona has had an extraordinary nine-year tenure as our chief human resources officer.
“Fiona’s leadership has been a cornerstone for the company and instrumental in shaping our company’s culture and driving success.
“She will be departing the company at the end of June. We wish Fiona the best in future endeavours and will always cherish her contributions.”
On Farrugia’s promotion, the affiliate added: “Jamie has been with the company for over five years and has demonstrated exceptional leadership and HR expertise across the globe.
“We are confident that her knowledge and expertise will lead us forward, and we are excited about the bright future ahead.”
