Catena Media brings back Erik Edeen for second spell as interim CFO
Affiliate firm moves to plug gap set to be left by the departing Peter Messner

Catena Media has appointed financial veteran Erik Edeen as the affiliate’s interim CFO.
Edeen will join the Stockholm-listed firm on 22 May and will succeed current CFO Peter Messner.
Messner announced his departure from Catena Media in February after three years with the affiliate.
Messner will remain with the company for a brief handover period to facilitate Edeen’s arrival, with the former set to leave the firm in early June.
Edeen boasts more than 16 years of experience in leading roles in financial management at both private and public corporations.
He previously spent time with ICA Gruppen AB and Investor AB, while also briefly serving as Catena Media’s interim CFO between 2019 and 2020.
Edeen joins Catena Media as the company enters a critical phase of its journey, having appointed Carnegie Investment Bank as a financial adviser in February in relation to a potential sale of the firm’s assets.
Michael Daly, Catena Media CEO, said: “I’m excited to welcome Erik as our interim CFO.
“His long professional career and past experience of Catena Media will make him a valuable member of the executive management team,” he added.
