Casumo launches long-awaited UK sportsbook
Mobile operator targets “clear and straightforward” sports betting offering

Malta-headquartered operator Casumo has launched its long-awaited Casumo Sportsbook brand in the UK for the first time.
The Casumo Sportsbook mobile site features a live lobby as well as a Bet Builder function allowing bettors to create their own bet using any number of selected markets.
In addition, players can customise their betting feed by selecting their favourite sports and leagues, which will display when they log in.
All new players receive a ‘Bet £10 and get £10 Free Bet’ welcome offer when they register on the site.
Greg Tatton-Brown, Casumo country manager for the UK, said the Casumo Sportsbook aims to make sports betting as “clear, straightforward and simple” as possible.
“We have put the player front and centre in the development of a sportsbook product that is approachable and user-friendly,” Tatton-Brown said.
The sportsbook, which can be accessed on mobile, desktop and app, was first launched in Germany and Sweden in 2019.
It had been initially scheduled to go live to coincide with the 2018 World Cup, however it was later postponed by the operator to carry out platform-related improvements.
Casumo is the current sponsors of EFL Championship side Reading FC, having inked a two-season shirt sponsorship deal with The Royals in June 2019.
Throughout the season, 50% of Casumo brand advertising featured at Reading’s Madejski stadium has been dedicated to raising awareness of responsible gambling.
In November, the operator unveiled its CasumoCares logo, which replaced the Casumo logo on Reading home shirts for their clash with Birmingham City in December. The initiative also included in-stadia advertising, programme adverts and social media messaging.
As part of the CasumoCares initiative, a corresponding website was launched offering advice, support and guidance on dealing with gambling-related harm.
