Casumo appoints CPO to drive sportsbook and new casino products
Operator’s sportsbook is currently in development and will feature a simple design and gamification features
Casumo has appointed Mark Busuttil as its new CPO to drive the development of new products, including its upcoming sportsbook.
Busuttil started his career at Betsafe and Betsson and then went to join Casumo as a senior systems administrator when the operator was in its infancy.
He spent the last four years as a casino product producer for Casumo and was promoted to CPO earlier this month.
Busuttil said: “As the organisation [is] getting larger and we are introducing new products, like the sportsbook, and also being in the process of developing our own games, we needed to introduce a role to act as the glue between all these products.”
“We have some really great people and ambitious ideas and I’m really excited to be able to support them in my new role,” he added.
Elsewhere, Busuttil told EGR the sportsbook, which is being built on the Kambi platform, was still under development.
He said the product would be built on Casumo’s core beliefs of “simplicity of design and excellence in execution”.
Kambi previously said the product would have a focus on gamification and “social-style betting experiences”.
