Casumo appoints industry veteran as managing director
David Wilson joins the operator after half a decade as Kindred’s head of UK account management
Casumo has added former Kindred Group head David Wilson as its new UK managing director.
Wilson joins the firm after more than five years as Kindred’s head of UK account management.
Having initially joined the Unibet parent company in April 2018, he was responsible for the high-net worth (HNW) account management team at Unibet and 32Red in the UK, Italy, Estonia and emerging markets.
Before his time at the parent company, Wilson spent just under two years at 32Red as its head of VIP management where he created and actioned the overall VIP strategy.
Prior to his time at 32Red, he was VIP operations manager at BoyleSports from January 2015 to June 2016.
Wilson also spent time at the now-defunct Nektan after cutting his teeth in the industry with Betfair.
Wilson’s appointment follows Casumo’s addition of a new CEO, COO, CFO and CTO in recent months as it looks to refresh its top team.
Francesco Postiglione was named as CEO in March before former Napoleon Sports & Casino CEO Tim De Borle was appointed COO in April.
Ex-William Hill head Janice Duncan joined as CFO in June and former Playtech exec Cristina Turbatu completed the quarter as CTO in July.
