The firm said Malyonâs role would be to continue to build its North America business, in line with its âglobal strategic business plansâ.
Malyon joined Camelot UK as sales director back in 2009 and has been responsible for developing and implementing its retail strategy and business plans.
During his tenure, Malyson helped oversee a 30% growth in National Lottery sales with in-store sales reaching $9bn while online sales have increased 130%.
He has also overseen the expansion of Camelotâs retail estate, taking it from 27,500 outlets to 46,000 across the whole of the UK.
Camelot Global CEO Nigel Railton said Malyon was a âgreat assetâ for the firm and had great experience in working for a âworld leading multi-channel lotteryâ.
âThese attributes are of particular relevance in a time when the retail and digital worlds continue to merge,â Railton said.
âHis experience in growing both channels will add real value to Camelot Global and our customers as we grow and develop internationally,â he added.
