Caesars Sportsbook named as Indy 500 sports betting partner
US casino giant’s sports betting offering inks deal with the world-famous race and its track in Indianapolis
Caesars Sportsbook has been named as the official sports betting partner for the iconic Indianapolis 500 race and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS).
The deal takes immediate effect and will see the offline and online operator be the sponsor for the rest of the racing calendar.
Another part of this deal allows Caesars Sportsbook access to all IMS logos and marks along with assets to use on digital platforms and across social media.
The operator will also offer its VIP members exclusive speedway experiences via the Caesars Rewards loyalty program.
Eric Hession, co-president of Caesars Digital, said: “The Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Indy 500 are iconic American sports traditions.
“Partnering with one of racing’s most iconic venues and ‘The Greatest Spectacle in Racing’ provides our customers with unique experiences through Caesars Rewards.”
On the IMS side of the deal, it will be able to use the Caesars sportsbook brand’s imagery via video board placements, PA announcements and programme ads.
Indianapolis Motor Speedway president J. Douglas Boles commented: “We’re extremely excited about this partnership with Caesars and believe their on-site presence – which is a first for our storied facility – will give fans a new opportunity to engage with the on-track action at the racing capital of the world.
“This is another reason to look forward to an epic and historic month of May at IMS.”
