The nod from the regulator means Scientific Games can provide online content to Delawareâs three online gaming sites from servers based in Caesarsâ data center in Atlantic City.
The agreement marks the first time casino game content has been shared between two states, although the DGE was keen to point out the content will only be available to online players in Delaware.
âThis arrangement exemplifies a great collaborative effort between the Delaware Lottery, the New Jersey DGE, Scientific Games, and Caesars Interactive,â DGE director David Rebuck, said.
Caesars Interactive chief information officer Marco Ceccarelli said the operator was âhappy to do its partâ assisting regulators in Delaware and New Jersey.
â[We] appreciate their progressive and innovative work to help continue to grow and push the regulated online gaming market forward in the United States,â he added.
The news came on the same day that Caesars Interactive became the first licensed US egaming operator to start accepting PayPal transactions for its Nevada-facing WSOP.com site.
The operator also plans to roll out PayPal on its New Jersey-facing sites, including CaesarsCasino.com and HarrahsCasino.com, next week.
