Caesars inks sportsbook-led deal with Arizona Diamondbacks
Land-based casino giant to build sportsbook and bar adjacent to Chase Field stadium in market-access deal

Caesars Entertainment has agreed a sportsbook-led market-access deal with MLB franchise Arizona Diamondbacks.
The partnership includes the provision for a state-of-the-art sportsbook, sports bar, and broadcast studio at the location formerly known as Game 7 Grill on the Plaza, adjacent to Chase Field.
Diamondbacks fans will be able to earn credits and tier status through the Caesars Rewards loyalty program, with credits redeemable in exchange for hospitality experiences and VIP access at Chase Field.
In addition, Caesars will be integrated into the team’s marketing channels by gaining access to signage and digital assets.
“We have long enjoyed successful gaming operations in Arizona and are delighted to expand into sports betting alongside the Arizona Diamondbacks,” Caesars Entertainment CEO Tom Reeg said.
“Together, we have the opportunity to create new ways for baseball fans to engage with the game both in-person near the ballpark and online anywhere in Arizona.”
Sports betting became legal in the Copper State in April. The state’s tribes receive 10 of the available licenses, and any tribe operating in multiple gaming locations can operate multiple sportsbooks under one license.
The remaining 10 licenses are reserved for Arizona sporting organizations. A minimum tax rate of 8% of revenue will be applied to all operators offering sports betting in the state. Arizona plays host to 16 tribes that run 25 casinos.
State estimates suggest Arizona sports betting operators could eventually generate $154.4m in revenue.
