
Buzz Bingo unveils “ultra-low-latency” live omnichannel product
Big Money Live, which boasts a £100,000 prize pot, will allow retail and online customers to join the same game being live streamed from operator’s Derby studio


Buzz Bingo has rolled out a new omnichannel product that will allow retail and online customers to play the same bingo game for the first time in the UK.
Big Money Live, which will feature a prize pool of £100,000, is due to launch on 26 October and will further mesh Buzz Bingo’s online and retail operations.
Live bingo presenters will preside over two sessions a day, seven days a week, from the operator’s dedicated studio in Derby, which will in turn be live streamed on Buzz Bingo’s website.
Delivered by Playtech and its ECM Systems division, the technology means Buzz Bingo has been able to merge “legacy systems with online platforms and ultra-low-latency streaming”.
The pooled liquidity of retail and online players means the £100,000 total is the largest omnichannel prize pot in the UK and a record full house prize for Buzz Bingo.
The operator said the omnichannel advances will allow it to continue to attract younger players to bingo.
Buzz Bingo noted the product launch will create a “seamless, unified bingo experience” that brings a “fresh, exciting concept” to the UK bingo sector.
