Mark Kemp to leave Irish operator after less than a year as John Boyle returns to exec team to support growth plans

BoyleSports CEO Mark Kemp has decided to step down from his role after less than a year in charge of the Irish bookmaker.
Kemp is set to leave BoyleSports at the end of July 2022, having only joined the firm in July 2021 from UK Tote Group.
Kemp served as UK Tote Group MD from October 2019 and previously spent time with Ladbrokes Coral, culminating in his role as MD from April 2017 until October 2019.
He also spent five years as gaming director for digital, retail and omni for Coral.

In a statement, BoyleSports said: “BoyleSports confirms that Mark Kemp will leave as CEO at the end of July 2022.
“In his short tenure, Mark has made a positive contribution to BoyleSports and we are sorry to see him go. We wish him success in his future career,” the statement concluded.
Elsewhere, the Racing Post has reported that BoyleSports founder, John Boyle, is set to return in an executive role at the firm to help support its efforts regarding international expansion.
Boyle will support commercial director Conor Gray, who Kemp replaced as CEO when he joined the firm.
In September 2021, BoyleSports restructured its executive team following the departure of digital MD Eddie Bennett after five years with the operator.
