Black Cow Technology seals Series A funding round
RGS and jackpot supplier backed by investment firm JJK Partners with capital to be used to expand product suite

Black Cow Technology has finalised a Series A funding round led by investment firm JJK Partners that the supplier said will “drive the expansion” of its products.
The Oxford-based business provides RGS services, progressive jackpot solutions and a real-money multiplayer server as part of its offering.
Existing partners include DraftKings, Light & Wonder, ComeOn Group and Playzido.
Black Cow Technology launched in 2013, founded by Max Francis, who currently serves as its CEO.
Francis, a 14-year OpenBet veteran, is supported by commercial director Tony Plaskow and head of business development Sarah Agostini.
JJK Partners, led by igaming stalwarts Jeff Millar and Kevin Schubert, did not disclose the total capital raised in the round.
Millar and Schubert set the fund up in September 2023, with Millar having previously served as Evolution’s chief commercial officer for North America. Schubert is an ex-Las Vegas Sands vice-president.
JJK Partners also has an option for additional investment following the funding round.
Alongside the funding announcement, Black Cow said it was “poised to fast-track” the launch of its first wave of multiplayer casino and slot games in Q2 2025.
On the investment, Francis commented: “This marks a transformative moment for Black Cow.
“From our humble beginnings, raising just £800,000 from friends and family back in 2014, to this significant investment, we are now poised to scale like never before.
“Multiplayer gaming is a genre poised for explosive growth, and JJK shares our vision for its incredible potential. Together, we’re committed to leading this exciting frontier.”
JJK Partners’ Millar added: “I’ve known the Black Cow team since their inception a decade ago and have always been impressed by their technological prowess and innovative spirit.
“This funding will empower them to become the leading provider of multiplayer gaming solutions, setting new standards for the industry.”
Last year, the technology supplier unveiled its multiplayer RGS, which allows for players to interact in real time when playing event-driven games including slots and crash games.
