Betway named Man City’s official global betting partner
Super Group-owned operator marks deal with CEO Neal Menashe ringing NYSE bell alongside football club’s chief Ferran Soriano

English Premier League champions Manchester City have struck a deal with Super Group that will see Betway become the club’s official global betting partner.
The multi-year deal was marked by City Football Group CEO Ferran Soriano ringing the New York Stock Exchange bell today alongside Super Group CEO Neal Menashe.
City become the latest club in the Super Group-owned operator’s sports sponsorship portfolio which includes teams from the National Basketball League and Spain’s La Liga.
It expands Betway’s presence in the English Premier League with the firm currently the front-of-shirt sponsor of West Ham United.
Menashe said the agreement allows Betway to reach fans around the world, given the popularity of the Premier League and City’s participation in the UEFA Champions League.
He noted: “We are absolutely delighted to become Manchester City’s official global betting partner.
“This agreement cements our place in the top-tier of Premier League partners, ensuring that our Betway brand reaches fans in all corners of the globe.”
Soriano added: “We are pleased to announce Betway as our official global betting partner today.
“As a globally recognised brand, Betway has a strong pedigree and history of working with high-profile brands within the sports space and we’re excited to work together throughout the partnership.”
Super Group recently announced it would be exiting the US online sports betting market after reporting a $22.3m (£17.3m) loss from the region – impacting the group’s adjusted EBITDA down to $46.5m.
Back in March, Super Group agreed a €140m deal to acquire sports betting software technology firm Apricot Tech.
