
Betway lands Atlético Madrid global partnership
Operator expands commercial portfolio after inking two-year deal with reigning La Liga champions


Betway has secured a two-year global partnership deal with Spanish football giants Atlético Madrid.
The tie-up means the online bookmaker will become the club’s official sports betting partner.
The Super Group-owned operator will be allowed to display pitch-side branding via LED advertising boards for both domestic and European competition at the club’s Wanda Metropolitano home stadium.
Betway will also work with the club’s and its players to produce social and digital content for fans of Los Colchoneros.
The global partnership excludes Spain, where new draconian advertising regulations came into force on 1 September, and Asia, due to the club holding an existing regional partnership deal with AYX.
Anthony Werkman, Betway CEO, said: “We’re incredibly proud to become the official sports betting partner of the current La Liga champions, Atlético de Madrid.
