International bookmaker inks one-year extension to MIBR sponsorship agreement

Betway has renewed its sponsorship agreement with Brazilian esports organisation MIBR for 2021.
The renewal marks the fourth consecutive year the bookmaker has partnered with the CS:GO team, which is owned by Los Angeles-based Immortals Gaming Club.
Betway will continue to hold a front-of-shirt branding presence on MIBR jerseys, as well as work with MIBR to produce events.
Last year, the pair launched two exhibition events where MIBR players and influencers competed against each other across a range of CS:GO’s most popular maps.
Adam Savinson, Betway head of esports, said: “In 2018, we had the great honour of becoming founding partners of MIBR, helping to re-launch this legendary brand. Today, we are renewing our agreement to continue our fantastic relationship.
“We’re looking forward to continuing to offer great insight and entertainment to CS:GO fans in Brazil and around the world,” he added.
Yuri Uchiyama, MIBR director, said: “As MIBR prepares yet again to play in the biggest tournaments in the world, our partnership with Betway and their continued support of the CS:GO community, particularly in Brazil, has helped us grow the largest, most passionate, and engaged fan base in the world.
“We look forward to working with Betway to keep building and developing new fans and future talent,” he added.
