Operator inks deal to sponsor four-day Dota2 BLAST: Bounty Hunt Tournament

Betway has secured an agreement to sponsor the Dota2 BLAST: Bounty Hunt Tournament, as the operator continues to expand its esports sponsorship portfolio.
The Bounty Hunt Tournament will see Europe’s top Dota2 teams compete over four days, starting on 9 June, for a $145,000 prize pool.
Betway’s sponsored Dota2 team Ninjas in Pyjamas will feature in the competition alongside the likes of Alliance, Team Nigma and Team Liquid.
Adam Savinson, Betway’s head of esports, said that previous success stories from sponsoring previous esports events convinced the firm to ink this new agreement.
Savinson added: “We have had an incredibly successful 2020 working with BLAST across their Counter Strike tournaments, making it a very easy decision to support their entry into Dota2. We are excited to see BLAST bring their innovative and exciting approach to a new game, and are proud to help them on that journey.”
Leo Matlock, BLAST commercial director, praised BLAST and Betway’s relationship and said he was “delighted” with the new deal.
Matlock continued: “The expansion of this deal is testament to the impressive collaboration between BLAST and Betway over the last 18 months as we both strive to be industry leaders in esports and entertain fans the best we can.”
Betway is also currently sponsoring DreamHack’s Masters Spring CS:GO tournament.
