Betway develops Cricket South Africa sponsorship spread
Online operator seals title sponsorship deal for domestic T20 tournament with governing body

Betway has put pen to paper on a title sponsorship agreement with Cricket South Africa (CSA).
Under the remit of the deal, Betway will become the title sponsor of South Africa’s national T20 competition, the Betway T20 Challenge.
The tournament, which started on 19 February, will run until 28 February and sees six South African white ball sides face off against each other.
The agreement has widened Betway’s relationship with South African cricket, having inked several sponsorship agreements in the past.
In July 2020, Betway and the CSA entered into a three-year sponsorship agreement for the African nation’s men’s and women’s national teams.
Paul Adkins, Betway marketing and operations director, said: “We are extremely happy to be announcing our title sponsorship of the Betway T20 Challenge. It enforces our strong commitment to cricket in South Africa and we look forward to being part of this exciting tournament.”
Pholetsi Moseki, CSA acting CEO, added: “We would like to thank Betway for joining Cricket South Africa as the title sponsor of the domestic T20 competition.”
“They are already part of our family with their association with Test and ODI cricket and this new agreement just reinforces our partnership with them,” he concluded.
