Betway boosts horseracing presence with All-Weather Championships extension
Sports betting operator adds three-season All-Weather Championships deal to Grand National extension
Betway has agreed to sponsor the All-Weather Championships for three more seasons after signing an extension to its existing three-year deal.
The online bookmaker will continue to sponsor the Middle Distance, Marathon and Sprint categories of the UK’s all-weather Flat season and will maintain its access to extensive on-course branding.
Betway’s sponsorship includes major races on Good Friday’s £1m Finals Day, including the £200,000 Betway Easter Classic and the Group 3 Betway Winter Derby.
Betway’s Alan Alger said: “After a highly successful three seasons sponsoring the All-Weather Championships, we’re really happy to be extending our involvement for another three.
“The All-Weather Championships provides great racing from October to April, not least this Friday’s Finals Day where there is £1m in prize money on offer, and we’re proud to be a part of it.”
Betway signed a five-year extension to its Grand National sponsorship in early April.
