Firm partners with digital app studio Shape on fully native platform to be rolled-out to operators

New sportsbook and casino operator BetWarrior has developed a fully native, mobile-first gaming platform for operators to meet Apple’s stringent App Store guidelines.
The platform, which is already live in Latam, has been developed in partnership with digital app studio Shape, and is an adapted version of Danske Spil’s mobile offering.
Apple has been clamping down on real money gambling (RMG) apps since the beginning of year but recently announced it would ban apps featuring HTML5 games or HTML5 wrapped sites from its store.

Many operators with legacy platforms and products that are not mobile-first will likely face difficulties in shifting their apps to native functionality.
BetWarrior CEO and former PokerStars director Morten Tonnesen said: “We have invested heavily, and worked closely with Shape to build a new type of gaming platform that is native mobile and can deliver a much richer customer experience – the same goal that Apple has with its new guidelines.”
BetWarrior recently partnered with Kambi to produce a Latam-facing sportsbook.
