Better Collective promotes from within for new VP of group legal and compliance
Linda Mullan Muir steps up to global management team in new role after eight years with the Copenhagen-headquartered affiliate

Better Collective has promoted long-term legal head Linda Mullan Muir to vice-president of group legal and compliance.
Muir, an eight-year stalwart at the Danish affiliate giant, will also step up to the group’s global management team and retain her role as general counsel.
She originally joined the firm in May 2016 before moving into a business legal counsel role in October 2017.
Several promotions within the division followed, firstly in April 2018 to head of group legal and then in October 2020 to director of group legal and compliance.
In July 2021, Muir was appointed general counsel and senior director of group legal and compliance.
Taking to LinkedIn to confirm her new position, Muir said she had found her calling within Better Collective as she described joining the company as a “pivotal moment”.
She wrote: “I’m thrilled to share that I am joining Better Collective’s global group management team as VP of group legal and compliance.
“Over the years, I have had the privilege of being part of our remarkable journey. We’ve navigated 36 acquisitions, celebrated an IPO and dual listing, expanded our geographical footprint and witnessed tremendous revenue growth and diversification.
“As I take on this new role, I’m excited about the opportunities ahead. Here’s to the future and to reaching new heights together,” she added.
Also joining the Better Collective global management team is Mikkel Munch-Jacobsgaard, who has been named as VP of group strategy, IR and corporate communications.
Munch-Jacobsgaard steps up after serving as senior director of group strategy, IR and corporate communications since April 2023.
The former Danske Bank head joined the affiliate in June 2022 as a director of IR, before adding corporate communications to his remit in December of that year.
In other Better Collective news, the dual-listed firm recently acquired UK-based affiliate AceOdds for €42m, with CEO Jesper Søgaard describing the addition as being “spot on” for the group’s portfolio.
The operator also reported an 8% rise in Q1 revenue last month, while headcount soared more than 80% on the arrival of staff from Playmaker Capital following the nine-figure-deal to bring the Americas-facing brand into its stable of brands.
