
Betsson targets social impact with responsible gambling microsite
OneBetsson.com will showcase community initiatives, RG tools and sports sponsorships


Betsson Group has launched a new microsite dedicated to promoting responsible gambling and corporate social responsibility.
Known as www.onebetsson.com, the site will primarily focus on three parts, starting with a responsible gambling section, which provides details about Betsson-operated tools for players, and tips on how to avoid becoming an at-risk gambler.
The second section of the site focuses on local community engagement and lists company-supported initiatives or employees who participate in community-focused activities.
Finally, the third section, called Partnerships, aims to illustrate how the firm collaborates with individual athletes, entertainers and the wider sporting community to support local and international athletes.
The launch of onebetsson forms a part of Betsson’s local community engagement strategy, first launched ten months ago, which has seen the creation of social responsibility committees in all of the firm’s offices.

Speaking about the launch of the site, Betsson CEO Jesper Svensson highlighted the potential for the business to make a bigger social impact.
“We have always been at the forefront of responsible gambling and corporate social responsibility and with this new website we are offering complete transparency in terms of social impact initiatives that we’re part of and hope that by doing so, others will follow suite,” Svensson added.
Betsson Group recently won the Customer Services Operator and Employer of the Year awards at the EGR Operator Awards 2019.
It was also shortlisted in the Socially Responsible Operator category.
