Betsson MD departs for Authentic Gaming
Melvin Hulleman is second MD to leave the operator this month following departure of Joey Hurtado
Former Betsson MD Melvin Hulleman has left the operator to join Authentic Gaming as the live-casino provider’s new head of account management.
Hulleman leaves Betsson after a nine-year career with the operator, where he rose from a customer service agent to managing director, including stints as head of Oranje Caisno and Casino Benelux.
He was appointed to his most recent role as MD in January this year, before making the switch to Authentic Gaming at the end of June.
He is the second casino-focused MD to leave Betsson in July with Joey Hurtado also due to depart next week.
At Authentic Gaming, Hulleman will be responsible for driving growth and executing key strategic goals, the firm said.
“I am honoured to join the talented Authentic Gaming team and look forward to working with their operator partners closely as the business continues to evolve and grow,” Hulleman said.
The provider partners with land-based casinos to stream live roulette play to online partners.
Jonas Delin, CEO of Authentic Gaming, added: “As we scale up our product and service offering and continue to rapidly move through our roadmap, the company needs strong leadership within the commercial team and Melvin will provide this.
“We want to execute our growth plans successfully but also want to ensure that our partners are properly looked after and receive the attention and support they need and deserve. This will allow them to grow with us as the popularity of live roulette continues to rise.”
Authentic has deals with LeoVegas and Foxwoods Casino in the US, among others.
