Betsson Group taps Betgenius for streaming service
Operator looks to tap into new revenue streams and drive betting activity during quieter periods

Betsson Group has sealed an agreement with Betgenius to bring sporting live streams to its portfolio of betting brands.
Under the remit of the deal, the supplier’s streams across football, basketball, tennis and volleyball will be added to the Betsson sportsbook offering.
Betgenius will also provide live trading for every fixture, powered by official league data.
The streaming service aims to enhance Betsson’s round-the-clock player retention with a focus on off-peak fixtures to drive turnover during quieter sporting periods.
Eric Stevens, Genius Sports Group global sales director, said: “Since entering the streaming space, we’ve put a real focus on acquiring official content that provides our sportsbook partners with unique, measurable value.
“We’re excited to expand our partnership with Betsson Group and further enhance its international sportsbook offering,” he added.
Richard Scott, Betsson group trading director, said: “The addition of Betgenius live streaming on a range of sporting events is a great way to complement the official data driven pricing. The round-the-clock coverage is particularly important as our client base continues to expand in numerous territories.”
