Betsson Group seals sponsorship deal with Torino FC
Italian club confirms operator’s Betsson.sport infotainment platform as latest partner as Betsson continues to commit to Italian market

Betsson Group has expanded its presence in Italy after penning a sponsorship agreement with Serie A side, Torino FC.
The relationship will see Betsson’s Betsson.sport news portal become the Turin club’s official infotainment partner.
The deal was confirmed on Saturday, 13 April, during Torino’s derby game against city rivals Juventus.
The new partnership marks Betsson’s latest effort to further cement itself in Italian sport after partnering with AS Roma legend Francesco Totti in March.
Totti was named as the face of Bettson.sport, with the legend signing up as the site’s new brand ambassador.
Stefano Tino, Betsson Group Italy MD, said: “This partnership with Torino FC is a significant step for Betsson.sport in consolidating our presence in this beautiful country.
“We are proud to collaborate with one of the most prestigious teams in Italian football and we look forward to providing fans with unforgettable experiences.”
Lorenzo Barale, Torino commercial director, added: “We are very happy to welcome Betsson.sport.
“Through this partnership, we will tell numerous engaging stories for our fan base, also accompanying Betsson.sport in their mission to give greater resonance for all sport, not just football.”
The Stockholm-listed firm launched its flagship Betsson brand in Italy earlier this year to complement its existing StarCasinò brand.
StarCasinò’s news platform was also added as AS Roma’s official partner in September.
Gambling advertising, including sponsorship, is heavily restricted in Italy, with operators circumnavigating this fact by partnering with clubs via news and entertainment platforms.
