Betsson Group reigns supreme at the EGR Nordics Awards

Betsson Group continued its strong showing at the EGR Nordics Awards after being named operator of year and nabbing a further four titles.

The operator was the star of the show at The Westin Dragonara Resort in Malta yesterday, 28 February, in front of a host of igaming execs.

Alongside the headline operator of the year win, Betsson also secured victories in the casino operator, customer services operator, safer gambling operator and marketing campaign of the year categories.

Mindway AI rose to the fore this year after being awarded three titles, with the Better Collective majority-owned firm catching the judges’ eyes.

The company was named compliance technology provider, corporate services supplier and safer gambling supplier of the year.

Enteractive was the only other firm to walk away with multiple awards this year after securing the employer of the year and acquisition and retention partner of the year gongs.

Optimove was highly commended in the acquisition and retention partner category as one of the headline awards.

Coolbet was highly commended behind Betsson for operator of the year, while Better Collective was named affiliate of the year, with Gambling.com Group highly commended.

Elsewhere, Flows was named rising star while Games Global was highly commended in the final headline category.

EGR’s team of independent, expert and external judges is updated each year to bring a diverse range of opinions and insights into the judging process.

Alongside the judging panel, the awards were independently adjudicated by accountancy giant Deloitte.
