Betsson AB hires Trustly head as new VP of comms and IR
Roland Glasfors to join Swedish operator’s management team and also lead sustainability strategy
Betsson AB has appointed Roland Glasfors as its new VP for communications, sustainability and investor relations.
He will be responsible for both communications and investor relations as well as heading the company’s sustainability strategy. Glasfors will be part of Betsson AB’s group management and will report into CEO Pontus Lindwall.
He will arrive at the Swedish operator on 2 May after having spent 16 months as head of investor relations at payment provider Trustly. Prior to that he spent six years in IR roles at gaming development firm NetEnt.
Pontus Lindwall, CEO and president of Betsson AB, said: “Roland’s extensive experience from capital markets and work in investor relations will be a great asset for us. His experience from the gaming sector is yet another advantage.
“With Roland on board, we can continue to further sharpen our communications and accelerate the pace of our sustainability work,” he added.

Between June 2019 and December 2020, Glasfors sat on the board of the Swedish online gambling association (BOS).
