Betsafe secures Star Sixes sponsorship deal
Betsson-owned sportsbook signs on as the official partner of the legends football tournament with plans to broadcast matches on its site
Betsafe has signed a major sponsorship deal for the inaugural Star Sixes six-a-side tournament, to be launched in July.
The Betsson-owned sportsbook has secured branding rights across the London’s O2 arena throughout the three-day football spectacle while its brand will also feature exclusively on the Star Sixes website.
Star Sixes is a new event which will bring together renowned international players from 12 of the leading footballing nations for a three-day tournament.
Although Sky Sports will screen the tournament, Betsafe will also publish exclusive official content and host a live broadcast on betsafe.com.
Betsafe MD Nicola Fitton said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be the official Principal Partner for Star Sixes. With such a stellar line-up of football legends from around the world, this tournament will be the hottest ticket in town this summer.”

As part of the deal, the sportsbook will offer fans the opportunity to meet players, including the likes of Steven Gerrard, Rio Ferdinand and Roberto Carlos.
