BetMGM UK pens multi-year partnership with Newcastle United
Newly launched UK-facing brand from MGM Resorts will see its branding visible within Newcastle’s St James’ Park stadium on matchdays

BetMGM has signed a multi-year partnership with Newcastle United following its market launch last month.
The deal will see the newly launched UK-facing brand become Newcastle’s official club partner, with its branding being made visible on matchdays in-stadia and via live broadcast.
BetMGM becomes the Magpies’ third gambling sponsor after it penned a deal with Yolo Group brand Sportsbet.io at the end of August.
Former front-of-shirt partner Fun88 transitioned to become the Magpies’ Asian betting partner at the start of the season.
Commenting on the deal, Peter Silverstone, chief commercial officer at Newcastle United, said: “We are delighted to be introducing BetMGM as an official club partner.
“BetMGM already has a significant presence in the city of Newcastle, with the company’s UK office here, so it is a business that understands the football club, its fanbase and the region.
“We are very pleased to be taking this step together and I’d like to welcome BetMGM to our growing family of partners.”
Sam Behar, UK director at BetMGM, added: “Newcastle United’s re-entry into the world’s elite this season is a golden moment for the football club and its incredible fans.
“We are proud that the club has selected BetMGM as one of its betting partners for the upcoming season.
“With our launch in the UK, it is fantastic to have Newcastle United as part of our stable of Premier League partner clubs. The team’s ambition and drive perfectly align with our growth strategy, and we can’t wait to get started.”
BetMGM launched in the UK in August and uses the technology the firm obtained via its purchase of LeoVegas in May 2022 along with tech from sports betting supplier Kambi.
The UK brand operates independently of the main BetMGM brand, an Entain and MGM Resorts joint venture. BetMGM also unveiled its inaugural UK advertising campaign last week.
The ad campaign features Hollywood actor and comedian Chris Rock, travelling in a gold speedboat from the Bellagio Fountain in Las Vegas to the River Thames in London.
