BetMGM nets TNT Sports presenter Laura Woods as new ambassador
TV presenter will share her thoughts on everything from Euro 2024 to the Olympics with BetMGM UK customers via video, social media and an exclusive blog

Laura Woods has been unveiled as a BetMGM UK ambassador ahead of a packed summer sporting schedule.
The challenger brand has continued its marketing push by signing up the face of TNT Sports, with Woods to play an active role in the operator’s coverage of a sports-heavy few months.
The ITV and Amazon Prime regular will offer insight on sporting stories to BetMGM customers through a number of channels, including video, social content and a weekly blog on the operator’s website.
Woods will also star in various advertising campaigns across the brand’s channels.
The presenter said the timing of her arrival as a BetMGM ambassador only added to the excitement.
She revealed: “I’m delighted to be joining BetMGM as the brand’s newest ambassador, particularly ahead of a huge couple of months in the sporting calendar with the Euros starting in just two days’ time, the Olympics weeks away and, of course, the new Premier League season just around the corner.
“BetMGM has a strong ethos around responsible gambling – something I’m really passionate about. It’s a really exciting partnership and I can’t wait to get started.”
Sam Behar, UK director at BetMGM, echoed a similar sentiment as he waxed lyrical over Woods’ sporting nous.
“Laura is the ideal fit for the BetMGM brand as we grow our ambassador network,” Behar added.
“Her broadcasting career to date has been hugely impressive, entertaining and informing sports fans across the UK week in week out and we’re excited for Laura to share her wealth of knowledge and expertise with our customers.”
Woods is the latest high-profile figure to become an ambassador for BetMGM UK.
September 2023 saw the group land Hollywood icon Chris Rock to front it first TV campaign, before former jockey and ITV pundit Megan Nicholls joined a month later.
Last summer saw BetMGM UK sign a multi-year partnership with Premier League outfit Newcastle United, while it also served as the title sponsor for this year’s Premier League Darts.
Having launched in the UK last August, the LeoVegas-powered firm entered the Netherlands in April after securing a licence last year.
MGM Resorts International president and CEO Bill Hornbuckle confirmed the BetMGM brand will likely expand into both Latam and Eastern Europe following the release of the operator’s Q1 2024 results on 1 May.
