
BetMGM hails IGT-led Wheel of Fortune Casino deal
Sportsbook and igaming operator to produce branded online casino centring on iconic US gameshow

BetMGM has welcomed the signing of an agreement with slots developer IGT and Sony Pictures, which will see the creation of a Wheel of Fortune-branded online casino site.
Under the terms of the partnership, BetMGM will serve as the lead operator on the casino site, with IGT supplying the slots games which will be included, and Sony Pictures supplying the intellectual property and trademarks of the Wheel of Fortune show.
Over 250 versions of Wheel of Fortune slots games have been produced over the last 25 years, but this branded Wheel of Fortune Casino site is the first of its kind.
BetMGM chief revenue officer Matt Prevost hailed the chance to partner with an American institution like Wheel of Fortune, which is due to commence its 40th season later this year.
“Wheel of Fortune is watched nightly by millions of people and BetMGM is honored to partner with Sony Pictures Television and IGT to bring this online casino experience to life,” Prevost said.
“Once live, Wheel of Fortune Casino will offer players the excitement of their favorite gameshow and real-money wagering in the palm of their hand,” he added.
These sentiments were echoed by IGT CEO of digital and betting Enrico Drago who also welcomed the deal and IGT’s newest partners.
