BetMGM announces Chiefs partnership ahead of Kansas launch
Online operator named official sports betting partner of NFL franchise as part of multi-year deal

BetMGM has reached a multi-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs that makes the online operator an official sports betting partner of the prominent NFL franchise.
The partnership was unveiled on September 1, the same day Kansas became the 31st US state to launch sports betting operations.
“With a rich history and a passionate fan base, the Kansas City Chiefs are an ideal partner,” said BetMGM chief revenue officer Matt Prevost.
“As we launch our sports betting platform in Kansas, we look forward to elevating the gameday experience for Chiefs fans throughout the region.”
Shortly after the announcement, BetMGM went live with its online sportsbook in Kansas, marking its 19th operational jurisdiction in North America including Washington DC and Ontario.
As part of the deal with the Chiefs, BetMGM signage will be displayed throughout the GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, while its branding and content will be featured across the team’s digital channels.
Through a variety of social and digital integrations, BetMGM will have the ability to provide special offers, gameday experiences, and prizes to fans and season-ticket members.
BetMGM will also have access to Chiefs’ marks and logos for use across its own digital channels.
“As an industry leader in the space, we are excited to welcome BetMGM to Chiefs Kingdom,” said Chiefs president Mark Donovan.
“We have invested significant time and energy advocating for sports wagering legislation and today’s announcement is going to open the doors for our fans to add to their experience for the 2022 season and beyond.”
The Chiefs partnership becomes the latest NFL tie-in for BetMGM, which has similar deals with the Ravens, Broncos, Steelers, and Cardinals, among others.
