Betclic strikes sponsorship agreement with French Football Federation
Bordeaux-based operator nets new five-year partnership encompassing the 2026 World Cup

Betclic has bolstered its domestic sponsorship stable after securing a lucrative marketing partnership with the French Football Federation (FFF).
The deal was officially announced on 27 August and will last for a period of five years.
The Bordeaux-headquartered operator will now collaborate with the French national team at major tournaments including the 2026 World Cup, which is to be held across Mexico, Canada and the US.
The agreement has been added to the Betclic sponsorship portfolio alongside its three-year title sponsorship of Ligue 1, the top-flight division of French football.
Ligue 1 has garnered huge global interest in recent weeks following the arrival of Barcelona and Argentina legend Lionel Messi at PSG.
“For more than 15 years, Betclic has been a major player in French football, so we are very proud to become a partner of the teams of France, the Coupe de France and amateur football,” said Betclic CEO Nicolas Béraud.

“We support its development notably through our partnerships with numerous clubs and the professional league.
“Betclic will therefore be closer to French fans for future international, national and local events in order to experience football like nowhere else and to exalt their passion for sport,” he added.
The FFF was previously sponsored by French horseracing and sports betting giant PMU.
